Joey Sexton aka J Sexton, is an American Recording Artist, Songwriter, and Rapper from Miami, Florida. While attending Florida Atlantic University in 2007, Joey discovered a passion for creating Hip Hop Music. While working towards his degree, he wrote several songs and performed in various local places. Unfortunately, he went through 2 surgeries after injuring his shoulder weightlifting, and his hip playing basketball. Joey accepted his challenges in life, and worked hard physically to rehab, and mentally through school. Joey graduated in 2013 with a degree in communications, and a minor in sociology. After graduation, Joey decided to focus his time and effort towards making inspirational Music. in 2014, He auditioned for "Americas Got Talent" in Miami, and was asked to perform in LA for the celebrity judges. in 2015, he released his first major single in the music video for "Story Go". Story Go tells the story of a dysfunctional american family which can relate to most american families. J Sexton is a complete artist who writes every word to connect his music with you.
